This spiciness prevents any form of sticky sweetness. In the heart note, smoky wood and salty, maritime nuances break up the profile. This contrast gives the composition a rough, unsweet edge. Over time, these harsh notes fade away again. What remains is a creamy, dark base that strongly reminds me of dried vanilla beans. The initially strong projection quickly recedes to become a skin scent, which suits the fragrance well. The longevity on the skin is good. A unisex fragrance for evening hours.
