Black Karak

Black Karak opens with a striking interplay of smoky, bitter black tea and the herbal spiciness of cardamom. However, these initial edges are later well-captured by the soft, subtly vanilla notes of tonka bean. As it progresses, the spice blend loses its sharpness in favor of a warmer, noticeably rounded smokiness. Soon, dense oud and strong leather move to the foreground, giving the composition its deep and dark foundation. It is noteworthy that the spicy accents of cardamom and saffron successfully hold their own against the prominent oud, even in the long-lasting base note. The result is an extremely complex, rather masculine and warming fragrance that clearly plays to its strengths in the cold season.

I don't know how to describe the scent; it seems to be a completely new fragrance combination for me. Good leather, for sure. I'm not a big fan of oud, but it's not bothersome here. Overall very spicy and omnipresent. It also has something sour about it. Smells similar to 'Caden' by Oman Luxury.

Black Karak is an absolutely fascinating, spicy black tea fragrance for me. Immediately after spraying, a deep tea note unfolds, which is wonderfully softened by a slightly creamy milk note – like a noble, dark, tart chai, but on a completely new level. As it develops, my nose primarily detects intense, spicy cardamom and noble saffron. What makes the scent truly exciting for me, however, is the dark base full of character: a bitter coffee note merges perfectly with masculine leather and a deep, mysterious oud nuance. An absolute masterpiece for lovers of dark, complex spicy scents!
