The scent reminded me of how I used to roam near abandoned summer houses as a child. The smell of half-rotten fruit mingled with that of earth and damp stone. Awesome!

With The Abandoned Mansion, Imaginary Authors achieves the feat of capturing the nostalgic coziness of past hours in an abandoned mansion. The opening on the skin is initially edgy due to herbal-bitter petitgrain and a slightly spicy pimento. However, both are cushioned by a subtle fruit sweetness in the background. Soon, this initial sharpness gives way to an extremely warm heart note, in which present cedar wood tones and a gentle powderiness take the lead. In the base, the powderiness is eventually replaced by the earthiness of oakmoss, which gives the wood a discreet green touch. This narrative scent development, from a rejecting opening to a comforting familiarity, lives up to the title Abandoned Mansion. Thanks to its moderate projection, this unisex fragrance does not impose itself unpleasantly on its surroundings. It is precisely this balance that makes it an extremely versatile and wearable companion, regardless of the season.

At first very earthy and damp, then beautifully aromatic and already quite wearable. In any case, this fragrance is not pop. Simply a work of art.
