Encore du Temps

I was expecting this to be much more of a tribute to Giuseppe's partner and love in general than a tribute to Laos... This is a very complex fragrance; initially, I loved it, but the more it settled, the more I found it too hard to wear for me. It is still a wonderful and emotional perfume. Update 02/08: I've ended up falling in love with it in the summer heat. I don't find it tough to wear at all, it smells just right, and it could even be stronger. Encore du Temps goes from an 8 to a 10, and it's another full-bottle buy. It surpassed Viole Nere for me

I wanted to try something new and ordered this fragrance. Unfortunately, I don't notice any bergamot on my skin; the scent quickly becomes heavy. There is a lot of champaca in it; I only smell the tea when I remember what green tea smells like. A hint of apricot resonates. Anyone who likes it floral and heavy will be delighted. Rather a spring or autumn fragrance. For me, it will remain just the sample.

It is nicely floral, but sometimes too much. A bit mustier and spicier than expected.
