Bukhara

It is a very sweet, floral fragrance. It is nice, but I am missing something that makes it special, which is why I do not wear it often. I simply find it pleasant to smell and would buy it as a candle, but as a perfume I do not reach for it often.

I didn't have Bukhara on my radar for a long time, as it is often described as an opulent floral fragrance. The surprise upon testing it was all the greater. The opening is fruity, soft, and almost 'delicious' without ever appearing gourmand or sticky. Over time, however, the fragrance evolves significantly and reveals a warm, woody side that makes it truly interesting for me. I was particularly impressed by the balance: despite summery temperatures around 30 °C, the sweetness never felt overwhelming. At the same time, the woods and the warm base create a rather late-summer or autumnal mood. For me, it's not a classic summer fragrance, but rather an elegant companion for the period between summer and autumn.

Tuberose and white flowers through and through. Too dense and sweet for me, but anyone who likes that can be happy here.
