The white foam of an overwhelming wave carries the oceanic freshness of a night sea illuminated by the moon's glow. Marine scents and sparkling citruses join aromatic notes of mint, myrtle and juniper berries, while Mediterranean salt crystallizes on driftwood, beaten by the waves and shaped by the night sea of Formentera.
How does Simone Andreoli Ocean of a Midnight Moon smell?
A complex aquatic composition opening with ozonic notes, grapefruit, and marine accords, enhanced by fresh bergamot and mandarin. The heart reveals aromatic juniper berry, cooling mint, and herbal artemisia, while the base combines balsamic fir, rich oakmoss, weathered driftwood, and subtle touches of patchouli and suede.

Promising start that gets lost in the woods
The opening delights with a wonderfully fresh, clean, and ozonic sea breeze. In the drydown, however, the fragrance quickly shifts into a very green-aromatic direction due to the presence of fir and oakmoss. Simone Andreoli definitely has stronger creations in his collection, which is why it will not become a favorite of mine despite the great opening.

A dark and long-lasting freshie
A fresh fragrance, but in my opinion without the "shower gel" touch of some other scents. The opening is very citrusy, which subsides after about an hour and leaves behind a pleasant memory of a spicy beach in the moonlight, without becoming musty or moldy. Rather, the fresh scent is underpinned by something earthy and dark. On the test strip it was uninteresting to me, but on the skin it developed a really pleasant effect. It lasts longer and has a stronger sillage than typical shower gel fragrances.
