Allende

I don't understand the bad reviews at all. You really have to give this fragrance time. The magnolia is quite present in the foreground at the beginning and can seem a bit unusual at first. But this is exactly where patience pays off: as it develops, an incredibly creamy, elegant vanilla unfolds, accompanied by delicate blossoms and a fine cocoa accord. After the initial freshness, Allende becomes softer, warmer, and more harmonious. The composition feels high-quality, gentle, and almost soothing. For me, this isn't a fragrance that tries to impress immediately, but one that reveals its beauty only gradually. Those who give it this time will be rewarded with a beautiful, luxurious vanilla.

I love vanilla, but this fragrance is simply terrible: The composition is extremely dense, heavy and overwhelming... instead of the expected, beautiful vanilla-cocoa aroma, it smells pungent like glass cleaner when sprayed... afterwards it reminds me of rancid body cream mixed with shea butter... pure headache potential...

Xerjoff Allende is a very soft, vanilla fragrance that feels pleasant and calm, but for me, it doesn't quite reach the depth and complexity I would expect from a fragrance in this price range and category. The vanilla is clearly the focus, but it feels rather linear and a bit reserved. Compared to other high-quality niche vanilla fragrances, I miss a certain character development or an additional creamy or sensual dimension that would make the scent more exciting. Overall, Allende is a beautiful, gentle vanilla scent that is very easy to wear and remains unobtrusive, but in direct comparison to other top vanilla fragrances on the market, it seems a bit monotonous and less impressive in its development to me.
