This sophisticated fragrance captures the essence of Italian luxury, combining zesty Calabrian mandarin with rich resins and elegant florals, creating a perfect balance between refreshing brightness and opulent warmth.
How does Xerjoff Decas smell?
Opens with bright Calabrian mandarin intertwined with sweet tuberose and subtle tobacco. The heart reveals a rich blend of benzoin and opoponax, complemented by delicate Tuscan white iris. The base settles into a warm embrace of bourbon vanilla, refined musk, and smooth tolu balm, creating a creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy dry down.

... a promising, elegant-floral iris scent is unfortunately immediately overwhelmed by a dominant synthetic here: instead of creamy powderiness, a scratchy, dusty woody texture and harsh tobacco unfold on the skin... this inharmonious, artificial amber note completely suffocates the noble flower... The result is a heavy, stifling veil of fragrance with a taxing dryness...

Very special fragrance. Initially fresh/citrusy, it gains a nice sweetness through tobacco that is somewhat reminiscent of bubblegum. I think it's underrated.
