Soft musk without musk
Musk Deer opens directly with sharp cardamom. A bright musk, however, gently captures this cool spice. The initial sharpness dissipates quickly and gives way to soft, woody accords. In the heart note, the musk remains warm and remarkably bright, as any animality is initially absent. Only in the drydown does the picture change. The balsamic woods recede, while a slight indolic quality noticeably darkens the scent. Longevity is very good; the initially stronger projection becomes skin-close over time. The fragrance vividly shows the different faces of musk, from cool-spicy to soft-animalic. Always pleasant and very wearable, yet always unique. It fits well in colder days and carries a slightly masculine signature.
