Not for me, but the craftsmanship is impressive
Oud Maximus by Bortnikoff is without a doubt a high-quality oud fragrance made with top-tier raw materials. The combination of intense oud and rose comes across as powerful and authentic, but is clearly aimed at lovers of traditional, animalic oud compositions. For my taste, however, the oud is too barnyard-like and animalic – I like oud very much, but not when it reminds me of rural stable air. Anyone looking for exactly this primal character will likely be thrilled. Personally, I would rate it a 6.5/10 and prefer to reach for more wearable oud scents.
